Following the talks, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement.
An exchange ceremony of important bilateral agreements was held in the presence of the heads of State. In particular, it is:
– A plan of joint actions to expand cooperation in priority areas of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation;
– intergovernmental Agreement on the provision of technical assistance to the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of metrology;
– intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in the field of joint film production;
– Intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population;
– Agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation on holding joint competitions in the field of scientific technologies;
– Protocol on amendments to the intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the field of Fisheries;
– The program of cooperation in the field of culture for 2024-2026;
– A program of cooperation to increase the tourist flow for 2025-2026;
– A joint action plan between the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to expand industrial cooperation in order to increase trade turnover between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation;
– A plan between the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on the main activities of the working group on increasing the volume of mutual trade between the Republic of Uzbekistan
and the Russian Federation for 2024-2030;
– Agreement between the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on digital cooperation in the field of phytosanitary;
– A plan of practical measures for the development of cooperation in the field of quarantine and plant protection between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation for 2024-2025;
– Memorandum between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation on the establishment of a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Bauman Moscow State Technical University".
– protocols on cooperation between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on the organization of healthcare and in the field of regulation of medicines for medical use, medical devices and high-tech treatment methods;
– agreements on cooperation in the construction of a low-power nuclear power plant on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Agreement on the opening of a branch of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade in Tashkent;
– documents on cooperation in the field of transport engineering, the development of the civil aviation systems industry, increasing tourist exchange, the implementation of humanitarian projects in Tashkent, the creation of agrologistic centers and modern chemical production.
