The Sahih al-Bukhari International Hadith Scholars Competition was held in Malaysia

The 2024 Sahih al-Bukhari International Hadith Scholars Competition took place in the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia.
This competition has been held annually on the initiative of the Malaysian government. It brings together specialists who have been working on the heritage of the famous scholar, and they compete in their knowledge in this field.
Over 15 scholars from various countries, who have been studying Imam al-Bukhari's legacy, participated as honorary guests in the event.
From Uzbekistan, Sheikh Ismoiljon Muhammad Sodiq, the imam of the Sheikh Muhammad Sodiq Muhammad Yusuf mosque in Tashkent, participated in the event.
Numerous screens were set up in the Putra Mosque, showcasing videos about the history of Imam al-Bukhari's mausoleum in Samarkand, efforts made to restore it, particularly since 2017 under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, and the activities of the Imam Bukhari International Research Center and the Islamic Civilization Center of Uzbekistan.
Invited scholars also shared their thoughts on Imam al-Bukhari's contribution to the development of hadith science and the importance of studying his legacy. In this regard, Uzbek expert Sheikh Ismoiljon Muhammad Sodiq shared information about the consistent efforts being made in Uzbekistan to study Imam al-Bukhari’s legacy, reports Dunyo AA.
