In Tehran, the transport ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states adopted a final document - the Tehran Declaration, which outlines joint measures for infrastructure development and strengthening ties in the region.

The Declaration reflects the common aspiration of the participating states to deepen regional cooperation, as well as defines strategic priorities and a collective roadmap for improving transport links and infrastructure integration.

The document includes proposals from Uzbekistan:
  • creation of a Digital Transport and Customs Office;
  • recognition of the Samarkand airport as an ECO aviation hub.

The need for coordinated investments, infrastructure improvement, and private sector participation in regional projects was noted.
