Washington refused to co-authorize the UN General Assembly's resolution supporting Ukraine, which could indicate a shift in approach to the conflict.

The US refused to support Ukraine
The US will not co-author a draft UN resolution marking the third anniversary of the war in Ukraine, which calls for the withdrawal of Russian troops and supports the country's territorial integrity. This was reported to Reuters by three diplomatic sources. This decision could be the most noticeable change in Washington's position during the entire period of the conflict.

Furthermore, the US opposed statements condemning Russian aggression in the G7 statement. According to sources, Trump's administration is trying to minimize official statements that could complicate possible negotiations with Moscow.

Voting at the UN General Assembly is scheduled for Monday. Although the US refuses to co-authorize the document, the draft resolution has already been supported by more than 50 countries, however, their list is not yet disclosed.

Experts believe that the US's refusal to support the UN resolution may indicate a revision of Washington's strategy on Ukraine. Donald Trump has previously stated several times that he seeks a "quick end to the war" and is ready to negotiate with the Kremlin.

Against the backdrop of these events, the question arises: does the change in Washington's rhetoric mean the beginning of a large-scale revision of Western strategy regarding Ukraine?
