There will be an establishment of Termiz State University of Engineering and Agro-Technology

The foreign HEI's programme, which is listed among the top 300 higher education institutions of globally renowned organisations, gives the university the power to create its own curriculum.
The President's Decision states that the Termiz Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Termiz Institute of Agro-Technology and Innovative Development shall merge to form Termiz State University of Engineering and Agro-Technology.
The training of specialists and scientific-pedagogical personnel in the fields of engineering, agriculture, production and service was defined as one of the main tasks of University.
From the 2024/2025 academic year, the University will establish the Advanced Engineering School. In this, large manufacturing enterprises are attached to the School of Advanced Engineering as industrial partners.
From 2025/2026 academic year, university professors and doctoral students will be sent to the leading higher education and research organizations of foreign countries for scientific internships and professional development. In addition, special groups for foreign language lessons are organized for talented students admitted to the university's bachelor's and master's degrees.
The university is given the right to form its own educational programs based on the program of a foreign higher education organization that is among the first 300 higher education institutions in the current ranking of internationally recognized organizations.
