Earlier, Putin expressed his intention to hold a meeting with Erdogan at the beginning of the year, as the leaders had not previously had the opportunity to meet due to the Turkish President's busy schedule. Erdogan also stated his desire to meet Putin and discuss the resumption of the "grain deal".
