The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia, Botirjon Asadov, expressed the expectation that trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Russia will increase to $10 billion. He emphasized that trade and economic relations between the two countries continue to actively develop, having significant potential for growth.
“Uzbekistan expects trade turnover with Russia to grow to $10 billion in the near term”, Ambassador Botirjon Asadov said. According to him, last year the volume of trade has already exceeded 9 billion dollars and continues to grow dynamically.
"At the end of last year, the volume of trade exceeded 9 billion dollars and is growing dynamically… I would like to emphasize that trade and economic ties between our countries, including at the level of regions and economic entities, continue to develop, and I think we will be able to reach the level of trade turnover between our countries of 10 billion dollars in the near future. There is a great potential for this, and there are all possibilities," the diplomat said.
