The delegation of Uzbekistan will make its debut at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games in football, women's wrestling, diving and archery.
Today, on July 17, before the start of the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games, a press conference was organized at the Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Fame in Tashkent, the National Olympic Committee reported.
Sports Minister Adham Ikramov, NOC General Secretary Oybek Kasimov, Committee Deputy Chairman Ravshan Irmatov, Saken Polatov, Azizjon Kamilov and Sherzod Tashmatov, as well as media workers, took part in the event.
At the conference, it was noted that for the first time in the history of Uzbek sports, 75 tickets were won by 90 athletes in 19 sports, in addition, the delegation of Uzbekistan will debut in football, women's wrestling, diving and archery programs.
Today, the first part of the Working Group left for the French capital, and the main delegation is scheduled to leave for Paris on July 23.
