Uzbek Foreign Minister meets with the new Ambassador of Cyprus

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cyprus, Kypros Giorgallis, on April 24th. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
"Met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cyprus to Uzbekistan H.E. Kypros Giorgallis and received his credentials. Regular engagements between Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Cyprus bring new impetus to our growing ties, especially in economic dimension," wrote the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in his Telegram channel.
It is worth reminding that on April 2nd, Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, E.P. Constantinos Kombos. It was noted that both sides value the stable and growing dialogue between the governments of the two countries. Mutual readiness for further expansion and strengthening of Uzbek-Cypriot cooperation at the bilateral level, as well as within the framework of the EU, was emphasized.
