Uzbek-Qatari relations acquire new dynamics

A meeting between Aide to the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, and Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdurrahman Al-Thani, has taken place in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Having discussed the prospects of deepening diplomatic ties, the sides emphasised the historical significance of the Samarkand and Doha summits, which opened a new stage in Uzbek-Qatari relations.
The events of 2023 marked a turning point in the history of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar. The summits in Samarkand (5-6 June 2023) and Doha (2 October 2023) marked the beginning of a unique period of deeper cooperation. During the meeting, it was emphasised that cooperation between the countries is gaining new momentum, creating vast prospects for various fields.
Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, noted that the focus is on active development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The sides express readiness for fruitful interaction in the implementation of joint projects, which will undoubtedly give a new impetus to the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar.
