Uzbek track and field athlete Anvar Anvarov won bronze in the long jump with a result of 8.02m at the Gyulai István Memorial international tournament in Hungary, losing only to Greece's Miltiadis Tentoglou (8.23m) and Italy's Mattia Furlani (8.08m).

Gyulai István Memorial international track and field tournament was held in the capital of Hungary, the press service of Uzbekistan's NOC reported.

In this start, which is included in the list of gold-level competitions of the World Athletics Federation, the representative of Uzbekistan's national team Anvar Anvarov won a bronze medal.

The Uzbek long jumper recorded a result of 8.02 metres.

First place went to Miltiadis Tentoglou (Greece), champion of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and second place went to Italy's Mattia Furlani.
