Uzbekistan and Afghanistan intensify economic ties

During a visit to Kabul city, an Uzbek delegation headed by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held meetings and negotiations with officials of the interim government of Afghanistan on 12 March. This was reported by Dunyo news agency.
"During our visit to Kabul we met with several officials of Afghanistan’s interim government. We covered the broad agenda of cooperation in many areas. Paid a particular attention to boosting economic ties, creating the most favorable conditions for business communities to have better engagements with each other. We have rich and shared history, common traditions and future. There are many avenues we can jointly utilize," the Uzbek Foreign Minister wrote in his telegram channel.
On 10 March, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov visited Doha, where he held talks with Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
