The ferries will be produced to meet Uzbekistan's needs, with the project valued at $150 million. Both sides are also working on expanding partnerships in the transport and transit sectors and jointly developing warehouse infrastructure.

During a business forum in Tashkent in August, projects worth $2 billion were approved, followed by seven additional projects worth $520 million.

Additionally, Uzbekistan has shown interest in utilizing the warehouse infrastructure of the Baku port, where cargo traffic increased by 65% in 2022, reaching 904,000 tons.
