In Tashkent, a meeting was held between the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Kuchkarov, and a delegation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) headed by its regional director, Vibke Schlomer. The parties discussed further expanding investment cooperation and implementing key reforms.

The main focus was on the development of public-private partnerships (PPPs), efficient use of land resources, as well as new projects in the fields of energy, green economy, healthcare, and agriculture. The IFC expressed its readiness to support Uzbekistan's initiatives and highly appreciated the efforts to improve the investment climate.

A separate topic of negotiations was the transformation and privatization of state-owned banks. As a result of the meeting, the parties reached agreements on further deepening cooperation and launching new investment projects.
