Uzbekistan produces 1,013 trucks in four months

In January-April 2024, 1,013 trucks were produced in Uzbekistan, according to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The volume of truck production increased by 33.8% compared to the corresponding period in 2023.

The number of trucks produced in recent years:

— January-April 2022 – 1,188 units

— January-April 2023 – 717 units

— January-April 2024 – 1,013 units

It is worth noting that there are several companies in Uzbekistan that manufacture trucks. UzAuto Motors, formerly known as GM Uzbekistan, produces various types of vehicles, including trucks, at its plant in Asaka, Andijan region. SamAuto, located in Samarkand, is known for its wide range of trucks and buses, as well as commercial vehicles. The joint Uzbek-German-Chinese enterprise UZ TRUCK AND BUS MOTORS produces modern and reliable MAN and Sinotruk commercial vehicles with payload from 5 to 70 tonnes.
