Uzbekistan GTL is supplying naphtha produced using Gas-to-Liquids technology. Uzbekneftegaz said the cooperation opens new logistics opportunities and reflects growing global demand for high-quality GTL products.

Georgia’s Kulevi port serves as the main gateway to the Black Sea route. SOCAR Trading has already started shipping Uzbek naphtha and delivering it to Black Sea ports.

According to SOCAR, Azerbaijan traditionally handles the transit of nearly 4 million tonnes of oil from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to international markets each year. Uzbekistan joined this route in 2026.

The launch of GTL naphtha exports creates a new international sales channel for Uzbekistan and strengthens the country’s role in global energy and transport logistics chains.
