From February 7 to 14, 2025, the IX Winter Asian Games will be held in Harbin, China. Uzbekistan’s delegation is set to participate with the largest team in its history.

Uzbekistan’s delegation to participate in Harbin 2025 Winter Asian Games with a record lineup
A total of 24 athletes will represent the country in six sports. This will be Uzbekistan’s most extensive participation in the Winter Asian Games, both in terms of the number of athletes and the variety of disciplines.

Uzbekistan’s delegation will compete in the following sports:

Short track speed skating: Daniil Yeybog, Denis Ayrapetyans

Speed skating: Danila Semerikov

Alpine skiing: Medet Nazarov, Arman Gayupov, Nikita Gorkovskiy, Sabina Rejepova, Valeriya Kovalyova, Kseniya Grigoreva, Mariya Morozova

Ski mountaineering: Mohinur Aralova, Feruza Boboqulova, E’zoza Shaymardanova, Asila Shoyimova, Jasur Shamsiddinov, Maqsudxon Akobirov, Shohruh Sardorov, E’zozbek Xushvaqtov

Figure skating: Yekaterina Geynish, Dmitriy Chigirev, Niginabonu Jamoliddinova, Sevinch Rahimova

Biathlon: Rolan Raimqulov, Dilmurod Abdurahmonov

The official opening ceremony of Harbin 2025 is scheduled for February 7. On the same day, Uzbekistan’s athletes will begin their competitions.

Uzbekistan’s participation in these Games is expected to mark a new stage in the country’s winter sports development.
