Minister of Health A. Khudoyarov met with representatives of the European Union Delegation to Uzbekistan, including project manager Ja. Kurpisha, GIZ program head W. Kessler, and anti-corruption advisor J. Berdiev.

During the meeting, foreign partners were briefed on ongoing reforms under the leadership of the President. A key focus was the introduction of ISO 37001:2025 within the Ministry of Health to establish a formal anti-corruption management system.

To meet the requirements of this standard, 14 new internal regulatory documents have been adopted, institutional mechanisms have been introduced, and the “Corruption-Free Sector” initiative is underway.

To further enhance healthcare services, four new digital systems have been developed, two existing ones upgraded, and three mobile apps launched.

Additionally, 3,838 medical institutions across the country have connected to the DMED system, forming unified electronic medical records for 32.8 million citizens.

The parties also agreed to carry out joint research on corruption-prone areas in healthcare and implement practical recommendations as part of the EU-funded project.
