In the next seven years, a large "water park" can be built on the territory of New Tashkent on 50 hectares. This was announced by the presidential candidate from Uzlidep Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with Tashkent voters.
According to the candidate, it is planned to allocate $200 million for these purposes. Also, an artificial lake with a total area of 35 hectares will be created on the territory of the New Tashkent, creating all conditions for cultural leisure of people.
In addition, during the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about plans for the "greening" of the capital in the next seven years.
"Today, the green spaces in our capital amount to 900 hectares. In the next seven years, we will increase this territory by 5 times and bring it to 5 thousand hectares... 100 kilometers of bike paths, 32 parking lots, 30 green spaces and avenues will be built throughout the city," the candidate said.
