WEF: Uzbekistan topped the world ranking of countries actively developing tourism

Uzbekistan has become the most active country in developing its economy for the sake of tourism. It took first place in the World Economic Forum's ranking, the news agency Vestnik Kavkaza reported citing the results of the WEF experts.
It is reported that the ranking of countries according to their contribution to the economy was made by experts from the World Economic Forum, which analysed data for the five-year period 2019-2024.
Uzbekistan took first place among the top ten countries in the world that have been most actively developing their economy for the global tourism market in recent years. Also in the top ten countries actively developing their economy for tourism were Albania, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, UAE, Egypt, El Salvador, and three African countries.
The greatest contribution to the tourism market over the five years was made by the United States, Spain, Japan, France, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Italy, and Switzerland.
