The Global Peace Summit, initiated by Ukraine and held on June 15-16 in Switzerland, attracted the attention of around 100 country and organization delegations. The final communiqué, signed by 78 countries, includes calls for nuclear and food security, as well as the return of all prisoners of war and kidnapped children.
The German publication Spiegel notes that the summit was a significant event in terms of supporting Ukraine, especially visually. Spiegel acknowledges that the participation of more than 100 delegations can be considered a success in terms of solidarity with Ukraine. However, the prospects for the start of peace negotiations remain uncertain. The future of the peace process depends on the further development of the conflict and the actions of both sides.
