The program of the working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Turkmenistan has concluded.

On October 8, at the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone, the Head of State participated in the eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. The President put forward proposals regarding the development of industrial cooperation, transport connectivity, and new technologies, as well as the joint resolution of issues concerning energy, water resources, and the environment. A Joint Statement was adopted, and multilateral documents were signed following the meeting.

On the sidelines of the summit, talks were held with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov. A significant outcome of these discussions was the signing of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Supreme Council for Strategic Partnership. The Head of State also met with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and, together with the heads of CIS delegations, visited a national cuisine festival.

On October 9, the President of Uzbekistan participated in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS. In his address, he outlined proposals for expanding trade and industrial cooperation, developing transport links, strengthening food and energy security, and countering cybercrime. During the extended session of the summit, the Head of State presented the priorities for Uzbekistan's upcoming chairmanship of the Commonwealth in 2027. A package of documents was signed following the summit.

Upon the conclusion of the events, the President of Uzbekistan was seen off at the Turkmenbashi airport by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Batyr Annayev, and other officials.

The Head of State has returned to Tashkent.
