Zaamin is preparing for «II International Maqom Art Festival»

On June 27-30, the «II International Maqom Art Festival» will be held in Zaamin.
It is expected that more than 400 participants from almost 80 countries will take part in the festival, which is being held in Uzbekistan for the second time.
The performances of the contestants will be evaluated by an international jury in three categories: “Best maqom ensemble”, “Best solo performer” and “Best solo singer”.
As part of the «II International Maqom Art Festival» an International Scientific and Practical Conference will be held on the topic «Theoretical and practical foundations of maqom art: problems and solutions».
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the grand opening of the festival.
