Zelensky Prepares ‘Decisive Decisions’ as Pressure Mounts to Fire Yermak
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he will meet with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada and lawmakers from the Servant of the People faction this week. He stated that several essential legislative initiatives and rapid decisions are being prepared. His schedule also includes visits to Spain and Turkey, with a meeting of the Commander-in-Chief’s Staff set for Thursday.

Meanwhile, sources cited by Ukrayinska Pravda report that Zelensky’s close advisers have recommended dismissing Andriy Yermak, head of the Presidential Office, after a corruption scandal involving Energoatom.

According to the publication, Zelensky recently met with key members of his team, including Deputy Prime Ministers Yuliia Svyrydenko and Mykhailo Fedorov, as well as intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov. Although participants offered different strategies for navigating the political crisis, almost all independently advised replacing Yermak.

Within the Servant of the People faction, a group referred to as the “coalition of the decisive” has formed. According to sources, its members threaten to leave the faction if Yermak is not removed. This internal pressure intensifies the political tension around Zelensky ahead of his planned announcements and decisions.
