Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Armanda Begay Discuss Humanitarian Cooperation at Kuksaroy Residence

As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Albania to our country, a meeting between the First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and the First Lady of the Republic of Albania, Armanda Begay, took place at the Kuksaroy residence. In an atmosphere of open and sincere dialogue, the spouses of the two heads of state discussed a broad spectrum of issues related to reinforcing friendly relations between the two peoples and outlined vectors for the further expansion of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
A specially curated cultural program allowed the distinguished guest to explore in detail the rich historical heritage and masterpieces of Uzbek applied art. Armanda Begay was presented with intricate wood carving, the ancient technique of suzani embroidery, and traditional local ceramics. One of the pivotal highlights of the program was a showcase of authentic national costumes and a performance of the traditional "Kelin Salom" wedding ritual, reflecting the unique ethnographic characteristics of various regions of Uzbekistan. The spouse of the Albanian leader expressed a profound interest in the customs and traditions of the Uzbek people, highly praising their aesthetic beauty, distinctiveness, and deep-rooted historical foundation.
