At the Summer Olympics in Paris, Uzbek athletes set a record. Uzbekistan rose to 13th place in the overall team ranking with 8 gold medals.

The collection of the Uzbek delegation was replenished with another gold medal, the author of which was our freestyle wrestler Razambek Jamalov (-74 kg). On the way to the highest award, Jamalov competed against Daichi Takatani (Japan). Thanks to his diligence and experience, Jamalov defeated a serious opponent and was able to conquer the top of the Olympic podium.

Representative of the Uzbek national boxing team, world champion Abdumalik Khalokov added a gold medal of the 2024 Summer Olympics to his list of won awards. The Bukhara athlete entered the ring for the title of Olympic champion against Munarbek Seitbek ulu (Kyrgyzstan). In a powerful fight, our boxer left no chance for his opponent and won a brilliant victory with a clear advantage.

Experienced boxer of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Jalolov put an excellent end to today's final fights within the framework of the Summer Olympic Games Paris-2024. In the championship confrontation, our compatriot, who competed in the super heavyweight, defeated Ayub Gadfa from Spain and recorded another gold medal in the piggy bank of the delegation of Uzbekistan.
