The visit of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Ankara and his meetings with the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, have confirmed the intensive development of Uzbek-Turkish bilateral relations. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan show the intense dynamics of the steep upward trajectory in Uzbek-Turkish bilateral ties. Undoubtedly, the Deepening Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Relationship Declaration and two dozen documents signed will open a new page of our ties aimed at bringing the best outcomes for the people in both countries. Together with my colleague Foreign Minister of Turkiye H.E. Hakan Fidan, we ensure that Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Turkiye will be at the forefront of implementing all the agreements reached between our leaders," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

It is worth reminding that on June 6, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the third meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council and the first meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish Business Council took place. The leaders of the two countries signed a Joint Declaration on the Deepening of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
