Citizens to Receive Free Medical Assistance via Electronic Queue System
Uzbekistan
Starting from July 1, 2025, citizens residing in regions with state health insurance mechanisms will have the right to receive free scheduled inpatient medical care through an electronic queue system. This initiative will primarily benefit taxpayers and other specific groups.
According to the Resolution, individuals paying income or social taxes, students, pregnant women, officially registered unemployed individuals, pensioners, and low-income families will be eligible for free medical assistance. This service will be available in district-level healthcare facilities.
From January 1, 2027, citizens who have paid income or social taxes for at least six months within the past year will also be entitled to receive high-tech medical services free of charge under the state health insurance system.
These changes aim to improve access to quality healthcare services and support vulnerable segments of the population. The introduction of an electronic queue is expected to streamline the process and reduce bureaucratic delays in healthcare.
