The construction of an electrified railway connecting the Kibray and Parkent districts in Tashkent region has begun. The total length of the railway will be 23.8 kilometers. This was reported by the press service of the company "Tashkent Regional Railway Hub."

The design of the new route is being carried out by the joint-stock company "Boshtransloyikha," and the construction work will be done by railway specialists.

"This will not only create new jobs for the local population but will also bring significant benefits to the country's tourism sector. The construction of the electrified railway will undoubtedly simplify this process. Improving transport links will help attract more tourists. Now, the Parkent district in Tashkent region will also become a tourist destination," said the press service.
