Contract Prices Increased at UWED

According to the university's press service, contract fees at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy have been increased for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The new prices set the contract fee for first-year bachelor's students without a scholarship at 29,428,000 UZS, and with a scholarship at 35,642,000 UZS. For second to fourth-year students, the fees are 23,740,000 UZS without a scholarship and 31,814,000 UZS with a scholarship. The contract fee for master's students is set at 27,216,000 UZS.
The university's press service also reported that UWED had not raised contract fees for the past three years. In the 2023/2024 academic year, the tuition fee for bachelor's programs without a scholarship was 18 million UZS, and for master's programs, it was 21 million UZS.
Previously, the average cost of educating a full-time student in state universities for the 2023/2024 academic year was announced. The average tuition fee without a scholarship was 13,640,000 UZS, with the average contract amount covering 54% of the costs at 7,446,000 UZS.
