Five teachers from each district will go abroad to study
Uzbekistan
Hundreds of teachers from all regions of Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to study at leading foreign universities.
According to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's instruction, at least 5 teachers from each district of the country - both from pedagogical universities and professional development centers - will be sent abroad for internships in 2025. This is part of efforts to modernize the school education system and improve teachers' professional training.
Over the past year, 215 teachers have already completed training at leading universities in Great Britain, France, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. Private schools are actively joining the initiative, which have begun to independently send their teachers to foreign programs.
The Head of State supported the proposal that, starting from the new academic year, teachers from private schools should make up 25-30% of all foreign interns. Relevant instructions have been given to the responsible structures.
