According to Fox News, Bolton was seen outside his Maryland home and later entering the federal courthouse in Greenbelt. He declined to comment to the media.
The indictment includes 18 counts, alleging the unauthorized transfer and storage of information related to U.S. national defense.
In a statement released earlier, Bolton said he “looks forward to defending his lawful actions and exposing Trump’s abuse of power.” He has denied all charges, calling them politically motivated.
