World
The authorities in Germany have taken action against four foreign nationals involved in the attack on the Free University of Berlin in October 2024. The attack was carried out by a radical extremist group that spread anti-Semitic slogans and symbols of Hamas. The German government has taken this incident very seriously.
According to BILD, the four individuals involved in the attack will be expelled from Germany and must be returned to their home countries. Ireland, Poland, and the USA will be required to accept their citizens. The US citizen has already received an official deportation order.
The radical views of the group members and their actions, including the vandalism at the university, have caused serious concern. The attackers stormed the main building of the university, spray-painted anti-Semitic slogans and Hamas symbols on the walls. Furthermore, they threatened university staff, armed with guns, saws, hammers, and other tools.
