The World Boxing Association (WBA) has released its updated rankings for September, featuring eight Uzbek boxers in high positions.
Hasanboy Dusmatov (minimum weight), Murodjon Akhmadaliev (super bantamweight), and Shakhram Giyasov (welterweight) retained their number one spots in their respective categories, just like last month.
Isroil Madrimov took third place in the super welterweight division, while Otabek Kholmatov climbed to fourth in the featherweight category. Bektemir Melikuziev ranked fifth in the super middleweight division.
Muhammad Shekhov, representing Uzbekistan in super bantamweight, remains in 10th place, as he was last month. These achievements mark significant success for Uzbek boxing.
