Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan discussed prospects of cooperation with Tashkent Administration

On 28 February, Acting governor of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov met with representatives of the Consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan under the leadership of Honorary Consul Kanan Jalilov. During the meeting, the prospects of cooperation between the two countries were discussed. This is reported by the Administration of Tashkent.
Shavkat Umurzakov emphasised the large-scale reforms underway in the capital as part of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's initiatives aimed at building a stable economy, strengthening the rule of law and ensuring security in society. He also outlined plans to implement projects in various spheres, including tourism, infrastructure and housing, utilities and manufacturing.
Kanan Jalilov expressed gratitude for the reception and expressed interest of Azerbaijani business circles in participating in the implementation of major projects in Uzbekistan.
The sides agreed to continue dialogue with business circles of both countries to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
