According to the SPA agency, the event was organized by the King Salman Sayens Oasis scientific center, which pays special attention to the development of science and innovation. Within the framework of the event, the works of the scientist, who had a great influence on world mathematics and algorithms, were presented.

Al-Khwarizmi is considered the founder of algebra - the term itself comes from the name of his work "Al-kitab al-mukhtasar fi hisab al-jabr wa al-muqabala." His works on arithmetic, based on the Indian numeral system, contributed to the spread of the decimal system in Europe.

The scholar's role in the development of the Bayt al-Hikma - a scientific center in Baghdad, where he led research and perfected mathematical methods, was specifically noted.

The organizers emphasized that the main goal of the event is to popularize Al-Khwarizmi's achievements among young people and inspire new generations to study science and technology.
