LG has unveiled the Alpha-able Future Mobility electric car concept

The company envisions that the interior space of the vehicle should be able to physically transform depending on the situation or purpose: turning into a restaurant for lunch, an office for work or even a cinema on wheels. To realise the Transformable concept, the space inside the vehicle will become more flexible, offering a unique experience that will meet and exceed passenger expectations. This concept will be brought to life through LG's innovative display solutions, including transparent, flexible and roll-up displays in a variety of form factors, as well as unrivalled technology in home appliances.

Also, according to the company, the car of the future should be able to adapt to the unique context of each trip, taking into account the destination, trip duration and other factors to provide a smarter travel experience with personalised content recommendations and more. LG is confident that the use of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and XR (eXtended Reality) technology will help the company realise Explorable's capabilities very soon.

The company's use of sophisticated artificial intelligence will boost mobility to new heights, enabling interactive voice assistants in the car that will take into account journey duration and destination to recommend content to passengers. They will suggest relevant options that match the expected journey time. In addition, thanks to augmented reality (AR) technology and transparent OLED displays on LG's windscreens, passengers will be able to immerse themselves in a completely different city or completely change the look of the car's interior.
