Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of credentials of the new ambassador of the Netherlands with residence in Astana, Nico Schermers, on 26 January. This is reported by Dunyo.
"Welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador of the Netherlands to Uzbekistan H.E. Nico Schermers today at the MFA and received the copies of his credentials. Undoubtedly, there is a big room for us to fulfill the agenda of bilateral cooperation in all directions, especially in economic dimension. We stand ready to support Mr. Ambassador’s efforts aimed at enriching Uzbekistan- Netherlands relations," Bakhtiyor Saidov said.
It should be recalled that Nico Schermers replaced Andre Carstens, who previously represented the Netherlands in Uzbekistan.
