Casualties from Israeli attacks on Gaza exceed 4,100

The death toll from the overnight shelling of a church in Gaza has reached 16.
At least 4,137 people have been killed in Israel's ongoing attacks on the Gaza Strip since 7 October. Of these, 1,524 are children and 1,000 are women.
Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, told reporters on 20 October.
He noted that about 13,000 residents of the Palestinian exclave were injured, and more than 1,000 people were left under the rubble of destroyed houses and facilities.
Ashraf al-Qudra also said the death toll from the overnight attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Gaza had reached 16.
He said that seven hospitals in Gaza had completely shut down due to Israeli shelling.
