According to the Gaza Interior Ministry, the occupiers have intensified the use of internationally banned white phosphorus bombs over the past two days.
Since 7 October, more than 1.6 million Palestinians have been displaced from their homes due to Israeli attacks in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Gaza Interior Ministry spokesman Iyad al-Bezm told a news conference that Israel was targeting shelters and hospitals to evacuate Gaza City residents.
"More than 1,600,000 Palestinians have been displaced from their homes as a result of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip," Bezm said.
Noting that "over the past two days, the occupiers have intensified the use of internationally banned white phosphorus bombs," the official once again called on "people of conscience" to pressure Israel to end the war in Gaza.
