According to the programme of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Uzbekistan on 26-27 May, high-level talks are envisaged. This was reported by the press service of the head of Uzbekistan.

The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes discussions on further development and deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia.

Special attention will be paid to expanding practical cooperation, particularly in increasing mutual trade turnover, promoting cooperation projects in various economic sectors, supporting programs of innovative collaboration, and continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

Following the summit, it is planned to adopt a package of bilateral documents.

The heads of the states will also participate in the first session of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia.

It is worth noting that ahead of the visit, several joint events are taking place in the city of Tashkent, including a meeting of rectors of leading engineering and technical universities, a scientific-practical medical conference, and a Week of Russian Art.
