According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, inflation in the country had decreased to 7.2% in annual terms by the end of January. He emphasised the importance of this trend and instructed the economic bloc to pay special attention to it.
"It is necessary to actively fight inflation and strive to reduce it. At the moment it is 7.2% in annual terms, which means a decrease compared to last year, when consumer prices rose by 7.4%," the head of state said.
