On February 13, 2025, amendments and additions were made to the Labor Code under Law No. O‘RQ-1030.

According to the law, the Labor Code has been supplemented and amended to introduce regulations for formalizing employment contracts in electronic form within the interdepartmental software and hardware complex "Unified National Labor System," determining the procedure for setting the duration of unpaid leave, and modifying the method of calculating an employee’s average salary.

Additionally, in accordance with the Law "On Education," clarifying changes are being made regarding the types of educational institutions where employees can pursue evening or distance learning.

Furthermore, a prohibition is being introduced on terminating an employee due to pregnancy or having a child.

Under the proposed changes, government bodies and organizations will independently request information regarding the passport or identification ID card, as well as employment record details of the applicant, including through interdepartmental integration platforms of information systems.

It has been established that labor legislation will apply to the labor relations of civil servants in the part that is not regulated by the Law "On Civil Service."
