The President inspected the operations of a dairy production facility
Uzbekistan
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the milk processing and finished product manufacturing process at the new Tillo Domor production complex in the Urgench district.
In our country, special attention is being paid to the development of livestock farming, advanced processing of agricultural products, and the expansion of value chains in the food industry. Extensive opportunities have been created for the introduction of modern technologies, the processing of local raw materials, and support for producers.
The Khorezm region is among the regions with high potential for milk production. Effectively leveraging this opportunity, projects are being implemented to develop specialized livestock farming and expand industrial milk processing.
The total value of the Tillo Domor facility is $11 million, and its production capacity allows for an annual output of 100 billion soums. The facility is equipped with modern technological equipment imported from Bulgaria.
More than 70 types of dairy products are produced here, including cheese, cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, katyk, and kefir. Raw materials are purchased daily from over 100 farms and individuals. This, in turn, helps create a stable market for livestock farmers.
The enterprise has created 120 jobs. Solar panels with a capacity of 100 kilowatts have also been installed on the production complex. Plans are underway to create another 100 jobs and expand the product range.
Currently, there are approximately 1,200 processing enterprises operating in the region.
The head of state emphasized the importance of increasing the production of high-value-added products through the advanced processing of local raw materials, ensuring a stable supply of resources for enterprises engaged in this field, and expanding the range and volume of production.
Responsible officials have been given instructions to support entrepreneurial initiatives in this area.
