Turkey takes over the treatment of Gazans
A plane with 61 patients and 49 accompanying persons from the Gaza Strip arrived in Turkey from Egypt. This is reported by Anadolu.

It is reported that they were met at Ankara airport by Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.

Most of the cancer patients were brought to Turkey by a military transport plane of the country's Ministry of National Defence.

According to Fahrettin Koca, the first group of Gazans, consisting of 27 patients and 13 escorts, arrived in Turkey earlier for treatment.

"I informed the Israeli health minister that Turkey is making active efforts to bring patients from Gaza to the country for treatment. This is primarily for infants and children. I also informed that we are planning a new evacuation within one or two days," the minister said.

Koca also said that Turkey is considering establishing a field hospital in the safe zone of Gaza.
