Türkiye says ready to organise meeting between Putin and Zelensky
Putin's visit to Türkiye is planned to take place in late April or early May this year.

The Turkish representative recalled that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had expressed the opinion that there should be no losing sides in the conflict settlement process. Therefore, Türkiye's readiness to organise a meeting between Putin and Zelensky to achieve a ceasefire and minimise human losses will be discussed at the meeting with Putin.

However, the Turkish side emphasised that it does not impose its plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. Türkiye's main goal is to stop human losses. If both sides, both Putin and Zelensky, agree, Türkiye is ready to mediate.
