Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev continues his official visit to Kuwait, where he held several key meetings with the country's top leadership. The focus is on deepening political dialogue, developing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and preparing for the upcoming "Central Asia - Gulf Cooperation Council" summit.

During the talks with the Acting Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahd al-Sabah, the parties expressed satisfaction with the agreements reached and emphasized the importance of establishing a Joint Investment Platform and a Business Council. Priority areas of cooperation include agriculture, logistics, hydropower, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare.

During the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Abdullah al-Yahyo, an emphasis was placed on expanding political dialogue and investment and financial cooperation. The signing of a Cooperation Program with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development was noted, and the prospects for opening direct flights between the countries were discussed.

Mirziyoyev's visit to Kuwait opens new horizons for bilateral partnership and lays a solid foundation for the implementation of large-scale joint projects.
