Uzbekistan Joins the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has officially announced that the country has joined the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty.
"Uzbekistan has officially joined the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty," the statement on the Ministry's website reads.
This is an important step in enhancing global efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and improve food security in the country. This historic step was taken in response to the growing challenges related to global food security and Uzbekistan's desire to actively participate in solving issues related to hunger, poverty, and inequality.
Joining the Global Alliance provides Uzbekistan with unique opportunities for experience exchange, attracting international investments, and implementing joint programs with other countries and organizations to address these urgent issues. To date, more than 100 countries have joined this initiative.
