According to the schedule, the first stage will take place in April in Brazil, and the second in June in China. The final will be hosted by Uzbekistan, with the exact dates and host cities to be announced later.

The preliminary calendar also includes the U19 World Championship, though its venue has yet to be determined.

World Boxing was founded in April 2023 as a new international federation designed to restore transparency and governance in Olympic boxing following years of crisis in the IBA. Its headquarters are located in Lausanne, Switzerland.

In 2025, the International Olympic Committee granted World Boxing provisional recognition, enabling the organization to help oversee preparations for boxing at the 2028 Olympic Games.

In less than two years, World Boxing has brought together more than 100 national federations, including Uzbekistan. Experts note that the organization has already improved governance standards, strengthened competition transparency, and restored trust among athletes and coaches.
