India topped the medal standings with 9 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals. Uzbekistan placed second, winning four of the nine finals it reached.

The federation noted that certain finals involving Uzbek women ended in controversial judging decisions — particularly the bouts of Oltinoy Sotimboyeva and Gulsevar Ganieva. Despite this, the event served as an important training platform for the women’s team.
